This happened a year ago, but the video was not released until the city of Albuquerque settled the lawsuit for $6.5 million. The $60 drug bust gone wrong and the LEO empties his gun on him, then says, "Jacob man, hang in there bro, I thought you were a bad guy".
Bad guy? $60 drug deal? Sadly, it will take settlements like this to change the way some LEO's conduct themselves. It will also force the bureacrasy to hire competent officers. Protect and serve did not seem to be the primary directive of this operation.
This serves as more proof that race has nothing to do with shootings of this kind.
