Like my opinion matters...

~ According to Allen B. West, by using Section 1 of the 14th Amendment to legalize gay marriage in every state, the SCOTUS also made your concealed weapon permit legal across America as well. This will not fair well with the progressive brotherhood.

~ Although a politically correct move, does anyone truly believe that the death of the Confederate flag will curb racism and violence. That’s like believing the death of Hitler and the German Nazi party was the death of the swastika.

~ I was taken aback when I read where the President reprimanded a heckler and made the statement, “…you’re in my house”, referring to the White House where the activist went on a rant. I used to think that house belonged to the people, not to any one person. “Shame on you” was another reply. He shouldn’t be talking that way to a protesting transsexual, these are his constituents.

~ I am beginning to believe that much of our political leadership is just plain incompetent. Successful leadership helps their team unite for a common goal, which should be to make this country a better place to live. Based on our debt, civil unrest, poverty, unemployment and freedom and justice for all, American leadership is failing miserably. Both political parties are responsible for this.

Division breeds hatred. Hatred breeds violence. They all lead to self-destruction. Karma, or the law of reaping what you sew cannot be reversed. The only force that will overturn this evil is love in action, as demonstrated through tolerance, patience, kindness, forgiveness and understanding. Hate is a disease of the heart, which has become pandemic in America.

That being said, "Equal rights for all men" in America is being kicked to the gutter. Some groups actually have more "rights" than others. Good or bad, right or wrong, imposing your will and beliefs on others has never worked. Freedom cannot be attained through legislation.  Justice, on the other hand, is quite another matter.  Selective enforcement hasn't worked either.

Have you been checked by a doctor for early onset of Alzheimer's disease?

If not, you may want to consider it, if you can remember to.

4:50 - What a rude comment. It adds nothing to the discussion yet serves to illustrate exactly what Denney is talking about.
