Merry Conspiracy Theory Month

If you were in on a global conspiracy to reduce the earth’s population by 90% and you had unlimited resources, how would you do it? Famine, plague, murder, war?

They're not theories when they turn out to be true. Popular consensus says JFK was killed in a conspiracy and it doesn't take a forensics expert to come to that conclusion. But, the point is, is it (any conspiracy theory) considered "real" when over half of the population believes it? Or is the official story what we go by -- even in the face of overwhelming evidence? How long does an illusion persist?

Speaking of wide-ranging conspiracies, anyone following the James Holmes legal debacle out in Colorado? Pictures of the aftermath of the shooting in Aurora? "...floor slippery with blood..." No, me neither.
