Denial,
because it’s easier to sleep at night…

Human beings would rather believe a comforting lie than a terrible truth. And let’s face it, if man-kind were to receive a grade for allowing history to be his teacher, we would flunk.

Due to its unpopular effects, I have resisted the urge to comment on our economy for quite some time, but I feel the need to share what I believe the greatest threat to life in America as we know it.

If you think America is not closing in on disaster, you may want to do a little more research. Our country, and the world, are preparing for economic and social Armageddon.

We are amassing debt at 1 trillion dollars per year, which is not sustainable. As we print more dollars, they become more worthless.

We have 171+ trillion dollars of unfunded liabilities (i.e. Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, ect…) which is impossible to fund using the current system.

We judge our economy by the stock market, which is easily manipulated. We have created a paper ponzi scheme especially if you add up the derivatives .

We are bailing out banks and watching big business leave the country in record numbers.

Our unemployment rate is 23%. Just because they have changed the formula to make it look better doesn’t make it accurate.

During the depression, we had soup lines. Today, we still have soup lines, but it’s not as noticeable since they’re in our grocery stores. Fifty million Americans line up using  food stamps.

I am not an alarmist. I am not being cynical. I am accepting reality, which I hope you choose to do as well.

No amount of blame will change the situation, nor will it provide a solution.

Allow history to show you what the future holds. Take action. Take the time to prepare. Consider it insurance that you hope never to collect.

Do not leave your welfare in the hands of this government. If they deserted God, what makes you think they will give us a second thought?
