A very reliable source told me that the pilot for Careflite who crashed and died yesterday told the company that the aircraft was not safe! As the head pilot and instructor at Careflite, he would not allow anyone other than himself to test the craft for that very reason.

I was told it was an old unit that they refurbished. Looks like the mechanic bet his life on it as well...and lost!
