It starts with a thought...

Posterity! You will never know how much it cost the present generation to preserve your freedom! I hope you will make good use of it!

John Adams (1735-1826) Second U.S. President in a letter to Abigail Adams, April 26, 1777

I would if the dammed government would let me have some freedom. Rules, rules and new laws every day. They even tell me how many fish I can have in MY home in MY freezer. Hell the fish have to be measured even before we take them out of the lake. And this is really a non-issue when compared to most rules that take AWAY MY FREEDOM. Those men that killed others and died to preserve freedom must be madder then hell and rolling in their graves.

What freedom? Too bad that John Adams is dead else I could have him discuss what constitues a freedom. I wonder what Abigail said in response?
