I find it very befitting (and hilarious) that Congressional Democrats were mad as hornets Monday morning when the health insurance industry found the first major flaw in the new health care bill.
After bragging that the new law forces insurance companies to immediately offer insurance to children with preexisting conditions, Congress was informed that they didn’t have to. Unfortunately, it seems Congress’ new bill doesn’t force them to cover these children if they don’t offer insurance to any children. Woops!
All health insurance companies have to do to save billions is not offer coverage to any children!
If you think Congress is unpopular now, wait until health insurers drop coverage for children in America. Wouldn’t that be special?
Personally, I was hoping it would go through so everyone would take their kids off their policy until they got sick; I know I would!
