Neither snow nor rain
nor heat nor gloom
of night are as
formidable as having
Saturdays off


The U.S. Postal Service is proposing the elimination of Saturday mail delivery. Savings are estimated at $3.3 billion the first year and $5.1 billion a year after that.

I believe it to be a good move considering the projected $238 billion deficit by 2020. Did I mention the elimination of 40,000 government jobs?

Have no fear! As always, the private sector will take up the slack and provide the same service with half the employees, twice the productivity and make a profit in the process.

This is just another example of the United States government putting themselves out of business.

Good riddance!
