This simple action will make a strong statement. Please help do this...
Refuse to accept these when they are handed to you.
I received one as change yesterday and I asked for a dollar bill instead.
The lady just smiled and said 'way to go' , so she had read this e -mail.
Please help out....our world is in enough trouble without this too!
'IN GOD WE TRUST' IS GONE!
If ever there was a reason to boycott something, THIS IS IT!
DO NOT ACCEPT THE NEW DOLLAR COINS AS CHANGE
Together we can force them out of circulation...

DC -- E. Pluribus Unum and God We Trust have been moved to the edge, where it, in time, will be eroded away. Like our liberty.
in God we trust written around the edge of the coin
Dude, I'm here for you. Snopes already dealt with it. We've got bigger things to worry about, such as "How much less will that dollar coin be worth after Obama is voted out of office (in 2012)?"

Hello, and welcome to 2007!
Whether or not "In God We Trust" is inscribed on the currency in the U.S. and/or the U.S. government endorses/shares my faith in God has no impact on the strength of my PERSONAL faith in God. If people who claim to have faith in God find their faith shaken by the U.S. not sharing their faith, perhaps, those people need to reexamine their PERSONAL faith and commitment to God.
Here is a wee bit of real history about the change of putting the motto on currency in 1957. I have no problem with the U.S. reverting to pre-1957 regarding not having a "national motto" on U.S. currency.
Thats OK Denny. I re-posted the same thing on Facebook after I read it here. Mr BG pointed out the Snopes link right away but I stated that I was still going to refuse the coin just to make a statement.
