Pelosi orders private jets

What's $200 million? They can afford it!

Didn't Congress just get finished raising hell
with American automakers CEOs for flying their
private jets to Washington? Who's a Hypocrite?

h/t Gateway Pundit

Did you know that the cheapest part
of owning an airplane is the cost
of the plane itself? Operational fees
are much higher than the plane cost.

I'd just be happy with a Rans Airaile S-12XL ( http://www.rans.com/s-12xl.htm ). Side by side seating so you can talk with your passenger/co-pilot, great view, easy on the gas. (Wonder what the TBO is on the Rotax?)

Would love to take one of these from Independence, MO west, retracing the Oregon Trail at about 200' AGL.

Of course, a G-5 would be nice, too!

Donald,

I would settle for a mere Pilatus. I know it's not a jet, but it's easy to fly, cheap insurance (in comparison), performance oriented, can land almost anywhere and has a large usable load. Reminds me of a big Bonanza...

But at 3 million a pop, I won't be getting one anytime soon... but I can dream, right? Now if money was no object, the G-5 doesn't suck!

Agreed. The Pilatus, Malibu Meridian, or Socata TBM-700 would all be way cool, at reasonably op costs, to boot!

We used to go to NW Kansas every November (to chase ringnecks) from a private strip in NE Tarrant in my dad's fork-tailed doctor killer. Beat the hell out of driving 12 hours each way.

Sorry, that was supposed to be reasonable op costs, not reasonably.

Bad fingers!
