It was absolutely NOT out of line. I happen to think if I had of pulled the kind of stuff she did, slightly shoved and tasered would not have been the outcome. I think she knew exactly what she was doing, but thought that there would be no consequence due to her age. Sorry lady, but you got what you deserved.
I see problems on both sides. He could've tried to calm the situation more, she should've been more respectful of LE. She did, afterall offer to sign the ticket. Problem solved. Most of my family are LEO's, they would've never allowed it to get to that point.JMO
Do they do psychological tests on cops in Texas? If so someone forgot to give this guy the test.
Yes the woman was out of line but she certainly was no threat or match physically to that brut of a cop. He did not use good judgement and seemed to escalate a simple situation to the point where he could cover his ass on tape.
If he had proper training and good judgement he certainly could have handled the situation without deadly force. Many people have been killed at the hands of cops and their tasers. He's dammed lucky he did not kill her. She is the ripe age for a heart attack.
Had he zapped me I'd be dead and my folk would have made sure he'd be laid out too. Time for his superiors to pull his plug.
I say get that man off the road. It was a speeding ticket. I guess Texas is not a state I want to visit. I hear one horror story after another coming from there.
