Not so much the History majors, huh (or even 5th graders, for that matter)? The effect of bread and circuses is strong with these, I'm afraid.
I do like the thought of the United States separating from California, though. And if, once the ball is rolling, we can excise Washington state and Oregon, New York, (Denney, you can insert Judge Harvey Cooper's pronunciation here) Massachusetts, most of New England, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Minnesota, we'll be left with a pretty strong and productive union.
sad to think that this is what we get for the millions of dollars we spend on education. even sadder to know these are the folks voting for our "leaders".
