If this don't piss you off, you're probably in law enforcement.
I must have been asleep when I first saw the link to this video on the Deity's blog. Next thing I know he's announced that the city attorney lost his job. He's not the only one who should be job hunting, in my opinion...

As a retired police captain, I was shocked at the behavior of the officers. I joined the police force but retired from the police service. This was how it was done in the 60's..
I wish I could say I am surprised by how Electra law enforcement conducts its business, but the truth is, what those two crooked cops did, as well as the Electra prosecutor, is pretty much standard operating procedure for most PDs these days. And not just in Texas. It's all about intimidation and inconvenciencing anyone who doesn't bow to the badge. These guys are psychos -- exactly the types PDs are looking for. They are dishonest, corrupt to the core, and following the advice given to them by their superiors. It's sad, but those who administer our judicial system are corrupt. Denying it is simply naive.
To make matters worse, these are the same civil servants who are so eager to purchase armored vehicles, tanks, mobile command posts, drones, and helicopters, and aircraft.
There is no accountability and these people can shakedown and even murder at will. Is there any doubt we live in a police state under a suspended Constitution?
