Clip/magazine argument- semantics. Quit trying to distract from the issue. It doesn't matter whether you call a 30-round magazine "standard" or "high-capacity", the point is that it is TOO MANY and YOU DON'T NEED IT.
Insulting people is childish and doesn't help get people to see things your way.
Who are you to say we don't need a 30 clip magazine? How are we to protect ourselves from an out of control government?
Please come back and explain these things to me. How can you possibly believe in freedom if you are for the continued restriction of guaranteed rights?
Well, you can't be for individual freedom -- that's all there is to it. I suppose the better question would be why do you support the current tyrant? Are you black?
Do you believe we will reach a point of "equality" in our culture and then everything will be all right? That's a fairy tale.
Our freedom is far more important than notions of equality.
Anon...the claim of "semantics" is most often used by someone trying to discuss a topic they know nothing about. I don't like AR-15's myself, I am more of an AK-47 man myself. Since I am a law-abiding citizen, neither you nor the government has a right to violate my constitutional right to own these weapons with whatever magazine I choose. As a gun owner, I have the responsibility to make sure my guns are secure and to use them in a lawful manner. Nothing more, nothing less. I am constantly amazed at the liberal's urgency to relinguish other peoples rights while zealously protecting their own.
