According to the FBI annual crime statistics, the number of murders committed annually with hammers and clubs far outnumbers the number of murders committed with a rifle.
This is an interesting fact, particularly amid the Democrats' feverish push to ban many different rifles, ostensibly to keep us safe of course.

Will the government begin regulating the sale and use of hammers since they are more lethal than rifles? We may need to go through a security check in order to make a purchase at a hardware store.
I hope the government can protect me and my family from these weapons! They should go ahead and outlaw sticks and stones while they're at it...

The government is going to have to round up all the guns.
With the re-election of Barry Soetoro, we are approaching, or have reached, the equilibrium of the progressive movement (dating back to at least the Wilson era) and progressive resistance. Simply put, our government will no longer be able to implement its future plans to serve (service?) Americans as long as privately armed citizens remain.
I'm not terribly keen on getting 'serviced'.

Wasn't it last year or the year before that the Brits were having issues with all the knife attacks and were contemplating knife controll laws?
