In God We Trust! All others pay cash.
There is nothing so comfortable as money, - but nothing so defiling if it be come by unworthily; nothing so comfortable, but nothing so noxious if the mind be allowed to dwell upon it constantly. If a man have enough, let him spend it freely. If he wants it, let him earn it honestly.
Anthony Trollope

That's not true either, pick any number of civil war battles.
Sand Creek was killing for sport and trophies. The testicle bags from braves were used for tobacco pouches. The battle of the Washita is a misnomer. It was the slaughter of old men, women and children to rehabiliate the reputation of George Armstrong Custer who had been suspended from the army for desertion of his troops. His wife got him the indian campaign gig. I guess she got him killed. Nice work..
