174,000 Rounds of .357 Ammo for Social Security

In the same way that we should think of every gun as loaded, we should think of old people as armed and dangerous. They must be dealt with severely when they become a threat to the public.

This is why the Social Security Administration has ordered 174,000 rounds of .357 ammunition. And not just .357. Hollow point .357′s. You know: dum-dums. Small hole going in, large gaping hole going out. The Tea Party Economist

Obama Spent Stimulus $ On MSNBC Political Ads

The Labor Department paid out hundreds of thousands of dollars in federal stimulus funds to a public relations firm to run more than 100 commercials touting the Obama administration’s “green training” job efforts on two popular MSNBC cable shows, records show.

I'm o.k. with ammo buys - stimulus for the ammo industry.

I also buy the official explanation that the purchase was routine. Many federal agencies employ security / enforcement type personnel albeit the natural assumption is that they don't.

I know for a fact that the Social Security Admin has an investigative arm. Those individual are licensed peace officers and they carry weapons.

The MSNBC ad buy, in terms of the larger federal budget a few hundred thousand is not enough to ruffle my feathers. Nobody watches MSNBC anyways.

If Romney manages to get elected I wouldn't have an issue with him buying air time on a channel that does a better job of mirroring my political ideology.

These little things only distract us from more pressing issue of the economy. Tea Party folks need to stay focused and not get distracted by the minutiae. It only waters down the larger message

This is a lie.

MSNBC does not have TWO popular cable shows, I don't think they even have one.

If Obama is going to waste tax payor money at least he should try and get his message out.

What a waste. MSNBC.
