So if you're a huge corporation and you arm yourself with political power, what would you be doing right now? Well, here's your answer! It's just politics as usual in Washington...
The more things change, the more they remain the same. It is my understanding that less than 15% of colonial Americans participated in the American Revolution. Of course, at that time, they had the advantage of being distant from a base of power that was occupied with its empire elsewhere. I regret to say that it appears socialism is here to stay in one form or another whether it is in the guise of conservatism or liberalism. Individual freedom and liberty ceased being viable concepts when civil rights legislation was passed. We've been on this path for a long time.
