Rambling on...

  • The human rights group SIOA, (Stop Islamization of America) is gathering signature on a petition to protest the mosque being built at ground zero.

The only drawback I see to signing it is being bombarded by donation solicitations... although I do like the fact that this group opposes Islam on human rights issues and not religious views.

  • As most of you know, I'm a conservative with a capital "C". So you know I'm not a Huffington post fan... but I read a very thought provoking piece that pissed me off, but I find myself going back and rereading it. Damn liberals!

  • So what do you do if you're the New York Times and you want to start some shit? Write an article on the gay culture at West Point. That's what the nation wants to know about...

  • Speaking of feeling safer, you might find this piece entertaining. Its' about how the biggest breach on the entire U.S. Military computer system was carried out by a flash drive on a government laptop.

  • I feel enlightened to know the 5 times a girl will lie to you!

  • Saving the best for last, this is a complete and utter stop down!!! The Fort Worth Star Telegram has listed 11 of the hottest babes in North Texas... There is a little sumpin, sumpin for the women on this list.

I don't understand why my wife didn't make the cut! It must be a political list or something...

Now get back to work and stop day dreaming!
BTW, enjoy your weekend...

Thats Bull*&%# that W-spouse, and me for that matter didn't get included in that list. To be fair we really don't live in the Metromess though. Maybe we should put together a list for Wise County!

The initial premise in the HuffPo piece is flawed. The author takes it as a given that Conservatives want a theocracy. (Not, of course, anywhere close to the truth.) Look at the side that wants to shut down discussion and debate -- it's the Left. Such subjects as intelligent design are not to even be mentioned. If something they disagree with is brought up, Liberals immediately resort to ad hominem attacks or arrogant dismissal.

Comparing the violence perpetrated by radical Islamists to Conservatives insisting on their Constitutional right to keep and bear arms is just ridiculous.

As for the rest, it's the old goose of mis-characterizing our beliefs and then arguing against their own creation.

The real question is this: Why do Liberals so vigorously defend Muslims and Islamic terrorists? Why do they insist on "tolerance" and understanding" toward them, and hatred, venom and gnashing of teeth toward American Conservatives?

Denny be careful reading that Huffington Post it may cause you to think outside your little world!!! You start doing that and you may have to rethink some of your political beliefs. It's far better just to keep listening to Fox where the only think you hear is what agree with--They are careful to edit out any info that may cause you to have to think!! Ut is best for you to limit your news feed to only them.

Btw Their comedy page is the best.

Wordkyle your so brainwashed you don't even get it. And please don't bother with some rant -

833 - It's amazing how you guys continue your simplistic mischaracterization of people who don't agree with you. I guess it comforts you to reject the notion that intelligent, thoughtful people with good judgment can have ideas different from yours. What may discomfit you is that, thanks to your ideas being put into action by the Democrat Congress and the Obama administration, more and more people agree with me and disagree with you. Welcome to the new world.
