Email of the day

Former U.S. Senator Fred Thompson is warning that if the Bush tax cuts are not renewed at the end of 2010, it will have a "devastating" effect on the U.S. economy.

Senator Thompson is urging every American to sign the League of American Voters Petition to Renew the Bush Tax Cuts.

President Obama opposes the full renewal of these cuts.

If these tax cuts are not renewed, every working American will see their income taxes rise by 10 percent or more.

And capital gains taxes are set to increase by one-third; dividend tax rates will almost triple.

It's urgent you sign the petition, please do so now at www.RenewtheTaxCuts.com.

The great understatement of this message is that this is the biggest tax increase on the American people in history. Over $3 trillion!

Small business will be desimated!

Hide and watch!

A good start would be to spell "decimated" correctly

Fred Thompson is WRONG!!!!!

The average tax increase would be 2%. With the poorest Americans having no increase.

Damn you Republicans! Why is it necessary to constantly peddle lies???? Can you not win an effin election by telling the truth for once???
