Last week was slow...

...on the blog because I was on vacation. Let me assure you it was a much needed time out. I forgot how much better the world is when I don't keep up with the national news. Now I understand why most Americans bury their head in the sand and don't get involved.

When I heard about Europe's problem with volcanic ash, it got me thinking over the last year or so. I was pondering what the Bible says about the end of days and the many catastrophes occurring all over the world. If God allowed it during the time of Noah, I don't see any reason he would not want to do it again soon, there's not much difference between the world then and now.

I got my iphone wet and now have a new one. While purchasing it, I found the best accessory for it to date. It's a hard case that doubles the battery life. It can also charge the phone. My only reservation is wondering how long it will take me to destroy it...

Unfortunately, not only did I fry my phone, but damned if I didn't break my schwanztuecker. Long story, prefer not to discuss it... Some vacations just don't pay to take...

The lake is full at 836 elevation level and will probably go 8 feet over the 844 mark... not a good sign, but I'm not complaining... unless they shut down the lake, then I'll be pissed! If you happen to get out on the lake this week, make sure to watch for floating debris! It is very bad!

Do you have a place out at the lake? We have one over at Blockers Camp. It's looking great isn't it? Ok, I fell for it. I googled it and Wiki it and didn't find an answer unless you spelled it wrong. What the heck is a schwanztuecker?
