STATE INTERVENTION – A district court in Travis County has issued a temporary restraining order against Bridgeport Essential Practices, LLC, owner of Bridgeport Health Care Center. The court also appointed David Crowson as temporary trustee, giving Crowson exclusive powers to operate and fully control the center. The action comes after an investigation earlier this month revealed four areas of immediate jeopardy, said Laura Albrecht, press officer for the Texas Department of Aging and Disability services.
