Many years ago, I decided to work on our kitchen sink. After several hours of frustration and disgust, I called the plumber and he said the $35 job turned into a $115 job. It was on that day that decided to heed the words of Clint Eastwood: “a man’s got to know his limitations”. Words I live by today.
Until Saturday afternoon, when I came home and decided to take the electric clippers and trim our long-haired dog. Needless to say, five hours later I had not only created a major disaster area in our home, but I now have the ugliest damn dog in town! The poor animal looks so bad I probably deserve jail time.
Note to self, the next time you feel inspired to do something new, constructive and creative, visualize Clint pointing that 44 mag at your head and remember, luck has nothing to do with ability.
Our President promised to introduce an new era of government openness. Now he has refused to declassify millions of pages of documents, all more than 25 years old and all, by law, scheduled to be made public. This is the same President that had no problem releasing detainee photos that experts said would make our troops and country less safe.
Why hasn't Hilary flown to Dubai and offered to bail them out? At the ludicrous speed they're spending money, it would be like a garage sale, except we wouldn't be buying anything, just funding more rich bankers.
After watching Scent of a Woman the other evening, I went to bed and had an inspirationally satisfying dream where General George Patton took a flame thrower to the chambers of Congress while in session. I woke up in an exceptionally good mood...
I still believe I have the solution to winning the war in the Middle East. If they would just give me a license to guide and sell radical Muslim hunts, I think I could charge $50,000-$100,000 per hunt and cut the troop level and cost in half. I see only 2 problems with my idea; 1, mounting the trophies and 2, overcoming protesters when they become an endangered species...

Bring it on..I will hand you the cash for the Hunt..see here's the problem you are dealing w/ uneducated people and you cannot educated people that dont want it..pull out the news cameras so all the bleeding hearts dont get upset watching the news and lets send in a rogue group of hunters and the first objective would be to secure one of the Dune Coons by shooting him in the knee w/ a small caliber, then hanging him naked upon the highest hill and slowly stripping 1x3" skin layers w/ a caping knife and applying rock salt so all the savages can hear his screams throughout the night, then remove his eye lids and apply salt water..once you have rattled there heads then start the assault w/ the sole intentions of properly placed head shots to degrade them, skin them and hang them in trees to allow the other savages to see America is not weak, see the proplem we have has a Nation, is there is no Men left in our Country just weak individiuals who have a Scrotom but cant use it because they are weak, I take my Sons out in the Field and I educate them on the Art of the Kill and how to survive..Shut off the Cameras for a minute, get you a Bon Bon turn on Oprah and Ellen curl up w/ a Book and allow us to take a finely tuned .308 and enjoy some Recoil...
The stupidity of the american lefty media as well as well as the 'good-for-nohing-useless-pathetic canadian national media, is that, whatever affects us will also affect them(MEDIA) and their families. They DON'T or simply refuse to admit that they are as DOOMED more so than the rest of us. Why? because they sold their souls to the wrong side and nothing they do will set them free-unless they repent and I mean, repent.
Luckily for the americans, there is FOX NEWS, why do you know so much of OBAMA already to cast him a low grade surely it is the news from CNN, NBC etc. but from FOX NEWS.
However, in Canada, there is no such media like FOX MEDIA to enlighten canadians of the Liberal party of canada(LPOC) corruption, thievery. Thirteen years of this corruption went on, and not a word from the national media. Would you believe that the liberals still owe canadian taxpayers millions of dollars? the media here feel that is not a problem.
The treatment towards our military by the liberals and their media is low and disgraceful; at least the american military are highly respected by the government of USA.
If canada had a FOX like station in Canada-the LPOC and their lousey media would have be done years ago.
Here's what baffling; The LPOC has the entire nation of canada's liberal medias on their side and the conservative prime minister stephen harper does not have one (national media)to his name. yet with God's Grace and Patients, this prime minister has been in government for almost four years despite the medias' daily insults, ridicule mockery hatred which they and their liberals throw at the prime minister on regular basis.
Many Canadians have no clue what the prime minister has done for them; all this and more are denied by the media themselves.
In fact the media here(canada) like OBAMA more and wishes that the PM follows him,. Would you believe it?
