You - as always -- are right on top of it DC. I guess the UAE don't look at it as torture, as it isn't -- having gone thru this meself. It works, bottom line!

That $8.2 million being withheld by ND alums is a conservative estimate according to Project Sycamore ~ the alumni organization that is spearheading the alumni boycott and demanding the removal of the university president, Father John Jenkins. Jenkins has, during his tenure at ND, allowed performances of The Vagina Monologues and the staging of the Queer Film Festival on campus. Obviously, these have no place at a Catholic university. Our current amoral society has plenty of opportunities for people to "express themselves." At least have some respect for what others hold sacred.

Oh, I forgot. Liberals hold nothing sacred so why would they know any better?

Anyway, the $8.2MM is a conservative estimate; this is only what the foundation has verified with the pledgees will be withheld. They are saying that possibly the same amount remains to be confirmed. They are even confirming that people are removing bequests from their wills. That'll be a mighty big chunk out of the endowment.

Unfortunately, in today's world even Catholics pleading with Catholics isn't working. There's a huge schism in the Church and now we must resort to reaching into the pocketbook to make leftist "catholics" see the true teachings of the Church. Pitiful.
