I wonder what would happen to the art gallery if it would have been a cartoon depiction of Mohammed and his followers. Do you think angry Muslims would be protesting in the streets and possibly rioting at his doorstep...maybe some death threats? h/t Bob Parks

What's offensive here is there obvious intent to offend and their blatant attempt to mask it with indifference.
The picture is kind of funny, but come on. You knew it was going to offend, otherwise why would it have been released so close to the celebration of the historical event shown in the picture?
The fact that they think they're "innocent" is more offensive than the depiction itself.
You know, I think Jesus would probably have laughed at the painting.
