The late Col. Jeff Cooper titled one of his books "Another Country", an observation on a fascinating 20th century life, from a line from British author L. P. Hartley: "The past is another country. They do things differently there."
I pray there's another incarnation of our 40th President out there. But in the meantime, we've got to examine our lives, and hold ourselves (and our public officials) to higher standards, much as they did in that country that was the USA.
