African safaris can be dangerous

ZIMBABWE - The angry wounded leopard in the video attacked the outfitter's first mate, Chappy. Bruce, the outfitter, and Chappy ate steak and drank mucho cervesas with our family at Cow Camp Steak House near Alvord a few years ago. I know many of you will be routing for the leopard...

If it were not dangerous, where's the sport?

While I don't have any desire to shoot leopards and cheetahs, elephants, rhinos, or zebras, I have always been fascinated by the thought of hunting the cape buffalo, m'bogo, .375 H&H or .416 Rigby at the ready. I guess it comes from reading about the exploits of William Finaughty, as told by Peter Hathaway Capstick.

Col. John Dean "Jeff" Cooper's stories also serve as inspiration for hunting some of the antelope species in Africa.

Some day, some day...

I noticed that the Tower Club (downtown Dallas) recently remodeled. It seems the bronze cape buffalo bust is no longer on display.

Pity.

LMAO at big tough "Mike" screaming like an over sugared 7 year old girl at Jonas brothers concert.

You are a bunch of idiots trying to compensate for your low IQ's and small penises. That cat had 1 arm and you had shotguns. WEAK. Hunt to eat.

As anyone who's read "The Grapes of Wrath" knows, the plural of 'penis' is 'penes'...

Tough room. Guess I'll just roll up my johnson and kick back with a glass of single-malt to read my latest Mensa newsletter...

"Federico, would you mind bringing in some more of those poached quail eggs?"

Chappy spent almost 4 months in the hospital. I would have paid almost anything to be there! Surviving is a choice.
