That major corporations have decided to embrace the TG issue is disappointing, though not surprising. Target has long been liberal, and WalMart, in addition to being weary from being the punching bag for the left for at least a quarter century, hasn't had any balls since Sam died. I think most corporations figure the route of least resistance is to acquiesce to the implicit greenmail of the shrill vocal minority, or face the wrath of the opinion-shaping media.an Donalbanehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06418506325893352676noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1664688143125343250.post-70770485535644333872016-05-12T14:06:00.464-05:002016-05-12T14:06:00.464-05:00What a beautiful day today, huh? Okay, I'd like to take a few minutes from my busy life to comment on your discussion points one by one.

• First, Denney, you are right -- Wise County taxpayers will have to bail out the jail over the lawsuit you know is coming and afterwards those who live in rural areas will have rotten roads for the next couple of years. If I ever end up in jail in Decatur, I think I'll admit to drinking chocolate milk an hour before dinner. You never know what might happen in jail.

• I would be more impressed with Loretta Lynch if she said she was going to be standing with people of high moral character instead of, well, perverts. BTW, I thought Loretta Lynch was a coal miner's daughter from West Virginia. WTH?

• I moved away from Mac platforms over 20 years ago not because it doesn't work (and work well, generally speaking), but because of compatibility with Microsoft operating systems. It was easier to make a living as a technocrat in the Microsoft world.

• In regard to your survey, don't be too disappointed. I came here every day and padded the numbers for cheaper gas. Sorry. I couldn't help myself.

• With all the problems he's had from a corrupt media, I think Zimmerman should sell the gun for a zillion dollars and move to Hawaii where he will forever be mistaken as a native.

• They should include a cell phone with unemployment benefits. Food stamps too. Maybe a house as well. A car would be nice. Cable TV allowance? Cosmetic surgery? Free Viagra?

• Of course, the system is rigged! Not just oil, either. Entropy eventually forces the collapse of coherent systems but we don't have to be a part of it.

• If big business wants to define instances of social justice, then how about not prosecuting those who shoplift simply because they HAVE NO MONEY! I have not always been a winner of life's lottery, but I never used it as an excuse to move to San Francisco and start shopping at Target.
Jeffreyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13022655829364754396noreply@blogger.com
